A Thought On Endings

Over the years every project I’ve participated in has left me with a different lesson. Dedicating ones self to a musical, a recording project, or other creative endeavor is an incredibly transformative experience.

You are surrounded by new opportunities for growth, other passionate individuals, and niche social interactions you can only learn to navigate through experience.

Each creative chapter ends with a sort of bittersweetness: Who will I be after this? What’s next? How do I stay inspired?

One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that it’s normal to leave an experience feeling like you had more to give . It means you’ve grown past the level you started at… That’s progress disguised as dissatisfaction. It means you’ve grown out of that chapter.

All you have to do is bring those lessons forward.
